This is a response to another DA stamp, though it will remain nameless for privacy's sake.
Have you ever had someone call you intolerant just because you disagree with something, whether it was related to religion, video games, television, books, etc? Yeah it's happened to me a couple times, mostly related to video games. While the word 'intolerant' was never used, the tone suggested this is what they were going for.
People can have disagreeing opinions but still be tolerant of what others believe. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they're disrespecting your opinion.
Just because gays are striving for equality doesn't mean they are intolerant of straights. Just because someone doesn't worship your favorite console doesn't mean they are intolerant of your love for it. Just because someone doesn't read the same books as you doesn't mean they don't want you to enjoy them.
I could go on. But I'll keep this short. Point is, before you cry intolerance to someone who simply disagrees with you on something, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself this. Are you as tolerant as you claim you are?

I'm a ... well, not going to reveal my region, but everyone thinks I'm intolerant just because of the way those around me who are "Allied" with me are acting. It's disgusting and sad.
